Storage for Maple Syrup

Refrigerate

Opened: If you are using your Maple Syrup regularly it is best to store in the fridge to keep the quality. You can store in the original jug or any container you prefer.

Unopened: You do not need to refrigerate Unopened Maple Syrup however, it is best to keep it in a cool, dark area until ready to use. (Best if used within 1-2 years if stored this way.)

Room Temperature

You can store Maple Syrup at room temperate once opened; however there is a chance it will create a film of mold from the outside environment on the top. If this occurs, scrape the mold top layer off and its ready to use!

Frozen

Maple Syrup can be stored frozen for a longer time, either in mason jars or the original jug it is packaged in to keep its freshness.
